Get a Quote

So, you know you need a survey of some sort and need to move quick, what do you do now? To keep it simple we have numbered the process, here goes:

1. You need to have a survey conducted on a property either because you have had an offer excepted or wish to make an informed offer (frequently we carry out surveys prior to an offer, this gives the offer more weight and should the sale proceed there are fewer hold ups).
   
   
2. Call Homebuyers Chartered Surveyors on 01772 561515 or 01282 771899 and speak with us where we will talk you through what your requirements are, the different types of surveys and what would be best for you and provide you with a quote based on this information.  This is an important step and shouldn’t be missed as having the wrong survey and not getting the information you require can be an expensive mistake.
   
   
3. Alternatively, fill in the online quote below and we’ll email your quote and/or ring you back.  Somewhat unusually our quotations are not computer generated but are based upon the information you provide to us and tailor made to your individual circumstances so bear with us and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
   
   
4. Should you wish to proceed we will take the relevant details such as your name, current address, address to be surveyed and any special requirements.  We will then send out Confirmation of Instruction along with Terms of Engagement which should be signed and returned, keeping a copy for yourself.
   
   
5. Payment can either be taken at time of instruction via debit card, paid directly into our bank account or by return by cheque.  Please note we do not send out reports until payment has been received.
   
   
6. We will liaise with the vendor or Estate Agent and one of our Chartered Building Surveyors will inspect the property and prepare a detailed report.
   
   
7. When the survey is completed a hard copy will be sent out from our Head Office and a PDF copy emailed if possible.
